📐 Measuring your main-entrance degree

  1. Stand outside the main door, facing the way you would enter — chest toward the door.
  2. Hold the phone flat on your palm, elbow at 90°; stay clear of iron gates and wires.
  3. Note the degree on the compass app (e.g. 203°).
  4. Repeat inside and on the roof — with the SAME facing every time.
  5. Take 5–7 readings; keep the value that repeats. That is your entrance degree.
Facing another way? Turning 90° right adds 90; left subtracts 90; turning around adds/subtracts 180 — facing 125°, the opposite reads 305°.

Read this before you upload — your report's accuracy depends on it
  1. Trace your house boundary in ONE colour — a single continuous, unbroken line around your flat only. Do not draw it as dashes, and do not use that colour anywhere else on the sheet.
  2. Mark the main entrance in a DIFFERENT colour — one arrow pointing INTO the house. It must not be the same colour as the boundary, or we cannot tell the door from the wall.
  3. Label every room in block capitals — BEDROOM, KITCHEN, TOILET, LIVING/DINING, STORE. If the printed text is faint, write over it by hand.
  4. Tag the fixtures that decide the reading — BURNER, SINK, BED HEAD, STORAGE, PAINTING, TOILET SEAT, WATER TANK. Mark the object itself, not the room it sits in.

Why this matters: every zone in your report is calculated from the boundary you draw and the entrance you mark. A broken outline, an entrance in the boundary colour, or a blurred, tilted or shadowed photo will produce an inaccurate report. Photograph the plan flat, from directly above, in good light.

An ancient science, born of observation


Vastu Shastra — literally, the science of dwelling — is
       India's classical discipline of designing spaces in harmony with nature.


Long before modern instruments,
       India's master builders observed how sunlight, wind, water, earth and open space behave through
       the day and across the seasons — and how a building's orientation quietly shapes the health,
       temperament and fortunes of those who live within it. These observations were refined over
       centuries into a precise system: the five elements (Panchtattva) mapped across sixteen
       directions around one sacred centre, the Brahmasthan. Vastu was adopted not as ritual but as
       practical wisdom — the same reason a farmer faces his field to the sun — codified in classical
       treatises such as the Manasara, the Mayamata and King Bhoja's
       Samarangana Sutradhara.

         not guesswork. It is prepared fresh for your home, following — step by step — the classical
         method adopted by Chayan Remedies, time-tested and proven in practice: your floor plan is
         drawn to scale, the Brahmasthan (centre) is fixed, true north is set from your own compass
         reading, and all sixteen zones, thirty-two entrance padas and six marma lines are laid over
         your walls. Every room, door, burner and seat is then judged by the exact field it stands
         in, and remedies are prescribed only from these codified principles — never invented,
         never approximated.

Is the Vastu report prepared by a person, or automatically?

Automatically, from beginning to end. No person reads your floor plan, your details or the problems you describe. Your plan is drawn to scale, the centre is fixed, true north is set from your own compass reading, and all 16 zones, 32 entrance padas and 6 marma lines are laid over your walls — then remedies are prescribed only from those codified rules. The same method is applied identically to every plan, which is why the report arrives in minutes.





What do I need before I can order a report?

Three things. A photo or scan of your floor plan with the house boundary traced in one single colour and the main entrance arrowed in a different colour; every room labelled in block capitals with the fixtures tagged — burner, sink, bed head, storage, toilet seat; and the compass degree at your main door, taken 5–7 times with the same facing, keeping the value that repeats. If you cannot mark the plan yourself, tick the box that says so and we will send you a private link to finish it on your phone.





How long does the report take to arrive?

Minutes, not days. Generation begins the moment your payment succeeds and the finished PDF is e-mailed to you when it is ready. There is no appointment, no queue and no waiting for a consultant to become free.





What happens to my floor plan and my personal details afterwards?

Your floor plan and the problems you describe are deleted as soon as your report reaches you. We keep no copy of either, anywhere. The report itself is kept for 30 days under your Booking ID, then deleted too. For our accounts we keep one line — your name, e-mail, phone and city against the Booking ID — never the problems you described and never your plan. Your report e-mail carries a written copy of everything you told us, and becomes the only record, so please keep it. If you write to us afterwards, that e-mail is a separate record and we keep it for 90 days — so quote your Booking ID rather than repeating personal details.





Do I need to break or rebuild anything?

No. Remedies are prescribed gentlest-first: moving an object, a bridging colour, a sealing tape or metal strip, added light. Structural change is a last resort and is named as such when it is genuinely the only option. Most homes need nothing beyond relocation and colour.





Which languages is the report available in?

Nine — English, Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. You choose the language of your PDF when you book, and it is independent of the language you are reading this page in.





How much does a Vastu report cost?

A Vastu Compliance Check of a house you already live in is ₹1,995 — you describe nothing, the whole house is read and the problems working against the residents are listed. A New Home & Office placement plan is ₹1,923. A Problem-Solution consultation is ₹1,221 for each specific problem you list. Payment is handled entirely by Razorpay; we never see your card.
